Zd30 oil leaks are quite common unfortunately, and some can be difficult to find Upon diagnose each possible cause of oil leaks, found out that the leak is coming from the oil return pipe at the back of the cylinder head Below are a list of the most common oil leaks found on both zd30di and zd30crd zd30di oil leak the most common one that is hard to spot is the injector tube seals leaking engine oil out past them
On nissan patrols you have a intercooler blocking inspection of the tube seals so you will need to remove it to find. I do have a catch can fitted (a cheap one) but the amount i'm seeing is. In this video the jafffa adventures crew find and fix an oil leak on a 2006 gu nissan patrol fitted with the zd30 engine
This oil leak is fairly common on.
Sounds like an oil housing leak I have the same problem, it's the part that oil filter is attached to it Either a gasket, or rubber washer or the housing has a crack The oil filter is on the other side of the engine?
Hey guys so i have had this annoying oil leak on my 2011 gu patrol (crd) since i have bought it The mechanics have told me it's an engine out job Zd30 is notorious for blowing oil out the breather even in perfect condition However if oil level is kept under the full mark and the intake tube is kept tight and clean, then no oil leaks out of the hose, it gets burnt in the engine
However mechanics and most car owners tend to over fill the engine and once a bit of oil gets under the intake.
Hi found oil leak when i arrived home tonight from 200kms off road and then hi way trip Lots of oil spread on driver's side from rear of underneath of front diff to cross member near gear box Many drops on the cross member and many other drops underneath on engine sump etc etc Also turbos leak oil from the oil feed line area or rear seal at the back or below the turbo
The photo of your turbo is just pushing the oil vapour through it Its not actually leaking oil Check the back oil feed lines for leaks Cheers basil 20th march 2014, 10:01 pm #4 4wdbob beginner
So my d22 navara zd30 uses a lot of oil
There are no visible oil leaks, no drops of oil on the ground Only thing is, there is a lot of oil around the intake pipes, manifold, turbo and even on the egr pipe
