Anyone surfed North Carolina, because when those banks line up it looks pretty epic to me?! Here’s the trailer for a new surf movie from the area Sand, Sea and Salutations. The videos coming out in Novermber 2012 so keep your eyes peeled.
If you’re from the region let us know where’s a good place to crash and why below and we’ll add it to the North Carolina surf camps, schools and accommodation page.

Thanks guys!

  1. Sandy’s Shores Cottage is a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom surf cottage with a break just out the back and Laundromats (Old Station) just a short walk down the beach.  Besides being right next to one of the best large swell holding breaks in town, the cottage is also a great launching pad for the plethora of breaks all the way down through S-turns and the Light House!
From the beginning of September through December tropical swells from the south and early season North swells descend on Sandy’s Shores.  This is also the season for some of the best fishing on the world renowned Outer Banks.
We are very surfer friendly and understand the last minute nature of Atlantic tropical swell chasing!
